Goethe predicted the heavy industry of cosmetics and plastic surgeries in 'Faust'.

In the same way,Pushkin predicted the intractability of high-ground tribes of the Russian Empire.
What eluded both  in their writings is the fact that women,once convinced for the necessity or the right cause of an action,will never step back and will become the most fierce avengers.
Losing your (beloved) husband,your son or even worse both in a conflict leaves women in a state of grief which is identical to falling into a black hole.
Nothing can escape it, not even light: it's the black hole of hatred,the black hole of losing your identity for ever.

Given that women's societal status in the Islamic world (alas!not only there) is defined in correlation with men,
there 's no doubt that 'black widows' will continue to play a dramatic role on the Russian political scene,simply because they have nothing to lose.
Suggestions to appease their despair and hatred?
Ordinary Russian women who have also lost  their beloved ones in conflicts can take a step towards the right direction.
Ordinary Russian women who grieve without becoming suicide-bombers can make a whole lot of difference if they speak up.
Why doesn't the Kremlin ask for their aid?

Ο κος Γκλέτσος είναι αναμφισβήτητα ωραίος άντρας,ηθοποιός και δήμαρχος.
Ο συνδυασμός,αν δεν είναι τουλάχιστον εκρηκτικός,είναι σίγουρα διεγερτικός για το φαντασιακό των ελλήνων.
Το είδαμε στην παράσταση έξω από το δικαστήριο της Λαμίας,όπου ο μπαλαμός, σιδηροδέσμιος και κατσούφης,χαιρετούσε το λαό του με το σήμα της νίκης.
Πόσο ηθοποιός ήταν εκείνες τις στιγμές το ξέρει μόνο ο ίδιος.
Πόσο η φρέσκια ιδιότητα του δημάρχου κάλυπτε τον τσαμπουκά του ωραίου άντρα δεν χρειάζεται να ρωτήσουμε.
Η σημειολογία μπορεί να μην είναι επιστήμη,αλλά έχει τον πρώτο λόγο σε θέματα εικόνας και θεάματος.
Εκείνο που διέφυγε του ευσταλούς κου Γκλέτσου ήταν η απουσία σεναριογράφου και σκηνοθέτη.
Έπρεπε ,λοιπόν,ν' αποφύγει να κάνει πολλές δηλώσεις.
Η σιωπή θα ήταν προτιμότερη και αποτελεσματικότερη σε σχέση με την Αλαμάνα και τις Θερμοπύλες που ανέφερε.
Γιατί παρέλειψε ότι εκεί κοντά ήταν παλιά και η Αυλίδα όπου θυσίασαν την Ιφιγένεια.

So Mr Pangalos is not- and could not comprise- an exception.
If we look what we are,no doubt,Mr Pangalos is in for it.
But he is also provocative.
So mush so that he is looking for it.
Mr Pangalos is said to be an intelligent person.
I don't know whether he is intelligent or not.
All I see is an unhappy,old man, and a counter-weight for PASOK.

Terrorism from within

It is at least tragic that a country which boastfully claims to guarantee "the peace and the welfare of less privileged ones" proves to be-once more- unable to guarantee its own citizens'daily safety.
What's more,the remains of the ''western film culture'' have such deep roots in the Americans'minds that no campaign against arms and weapons will be of any use.
Also,the American show industry has been investing enormous amounts of money in violence and bloodsheds since time immemorial leading youngsters to horrid confusion.
It's not the first break of shooting and unfortunately it's not going to be the last.
There's something terribly sick and rotten in the very heart of the American society:and that's intolerance.
Education did not play the role it should have,otherwise there wouldn't be so many tea-party followers.
The USA have got used to ''little massacres'' (in the same way king Mithidrate had got used to little sips of poison) and stand powerless waiting for the next shooting spree.

Why don't Americans take a look at Europe where firearms are much less accessible?
